The Leeward
Coast, best kept secret of Oahu, is like a journey to the land time
forgot. Nothing like Honolulu or Waikiki, travel miles of uninhabited
beaches, the most extensive coral systems in the state and pristine
areas far off the beaten vacation paths. Local marine biologists take
researchers, students, naturalists, families, photographers, and small
intimate groups of travelers to encounter the coastal marine life
that thrives there; and to promote overall health and wellness for
all.
Proceeds from these "soft adventures" enable conservation
actions to keep the animal's environment safe from pollution and unconstrained
development, and enable school children to have hands-on experience
in the ocean environment. Four-hour morning wildlife charters - dolphin,
whale and turtle encounters - are combined to maximize your adventure.

Clear (60 to 100 foot plus visibility), warm (76 to 81 F) water, and
snorkeling depths from 10 to 80 feet, makes the adventure enjoyable
for all age groups and experience levels. You do not have to be an
exceptionally strong swimmer, even non-swimmers (with supplied life
belts) enjoy these trips. Being in a remote area, educating small
groups of people, and sailing rather than a using motorboat, acts
as a safety valve helping to prevent harm to the marine environment.

charters do not include time in the water (excepting overnighters).
Snorkeling on morning charters may be weather dependant. While animals
may still be viewed from the surface, it is not always in our best
interest to get in the water... :-)
