the tropical Hawaii waters with humpback whales and marine biologists.
Join us for a private ocean adventure and a lifetime memory of watching
Hawaii's humpback whales, up close and personal. Your photography
gear will stay dry, while you view marine life in a non-invasive manner
by sailboat. Come with us to experience the action first-hand in pristine
area 45 minutes from Waikiki and Honolulu.
You'll see how (and
can even help!) to collect data on the seasonal humpback whales (or
other marine life we may come aross), and feel good that your booking
has helped with whale conservation! You'll learn not only to recognize
whale behaviors, but also cutting edge theories of the meaning
of whale breaches, song (heard on onboard hydrophone), pectoral waves
and tail slaps, and more.
Our
main area of study contains one of the largest and fastest growing
populations of the endangered humpback whale in rural areas on Oahu
(they're not just in Maui!). The whales here are engaged in winter
activities that include males competing for access to females (aerial
and aggressive displays), mothers with babies (calves) and other social
interactions.

Activites
below are combined to maximize your adventure. For specific details
on each possibity, please click on the link below. Evening/night charters
do not include time in the water (excepting overnighters), although
we may very well still see the wildlife. Snorkeling on morning charters
may be weather dependant. While animals may still be viewed from the
surface, it is not always in our best interest to get in the water...
