• Waianae's remote location (characterized by sandy beaches, exotic flowers and diverse terrain), tropical climate and unique history provide an island and ocean classroom to learn about amazing plants, marine animals and geology, as well as conservation of vanishing species of O'ahu. With majestic cloud shrouded Mount Ka'ala at our back and the turquoise Pacific Ocean at our feet, Waianae offers breathtaking views, splendid sunsets, glorious moonrises and brilliant star-filled skies.

• Your journey begins with a private massage therapy session. What better way to begin than with total release and relaxation, clearing your mind for a new life adventure.

• The fascinating salt water world beneath the sea comes to life when examined with marine biologists and three private wildlife field trips on 42 ft. catamaran. In-depth snorkeling lessons are provided. Gently led by experts - safely swim with wild dolphins, spot shorebirds, play with tropical fish and commune with giant sea turtles (humpback whales winter season).

• At your leisure - swim, snorkel, sea kayak and stroll along the azure sea in a picturesque island setting. Savor a cool refreshment in a private tropical garden or Jacuzzi, or by the dolphin tiled swimming pool in your own courtyard.

• Cultural expeditions include Hawaiian ancient heiau (sacred sites), local legends, healing arts and traditional crafts. Walk in the footsteps of King Kamehameha, Chief Poki, and the shark god of Kaneana sea cave.

• Evening astronomy programs will enhance your experiential learning opportunities. Step across the solar system and into the night sky to discover how early Polynesians used the stars to lead them to this island. Telescope on property, reveals galaxies, clusters and nebulae. Special sunset, stargazing cruise will give you a chance to test your new-found skills and identify constellations.

• Feel and look better by eating well and enjoying it too! Discover the wonderful array of ethnic food available, and get practical instruction in preparing delicious, balanced dinners that create maximum energy. Breakfast and lunch materials are provided.

• Let your mind and body stretch. Learn gentle, flowing physical movements, mindful breathing and awareness to activate your storehouse of vital energy in basic Yoga or Tai Chi courses. Renew your body, mind and spirit as "chi" frees and restores blocked channels. Take home tools to increase flexibility, memory and relaxation.

• Groups limited to ten people maximum (5 bedrooms, 4 baths) for best experience possible for both participants and the island.
