Surf and Turf - Best of the West / HorseManShip Horseback Riding Package NEW!
You'll hear us say that spinner dolphin-ality is akin to horse-nality. On our Surf ‘n Turf package we take you (man) straight from the ship (Best of the West, included in this package), to meet the wild dolphin’s domestic land (horse) counterparts at Wild Side's private HorseManShip Center.
Right up Waianae Valley, in a mesquite (it's not just a flavor!) ranch playland, we'll have a BBQ lunch under a monkey pod tree while watching demonstrations of natural horsemanship communication methods (“horse whispering", or listening to be more correct!), and learning centered/balanced horseback riding skills for us humans.
After lunch you’ll be introduced to your own silk-lipped horse companion for the rest your time on the ranch. We'll have some horse-play time to get acquainted with our mounts and then off we go on a special trail ride.
Clinical studies show that just being near horses brings down stress levels. If after lunch you are less interested in riding and want more "communication" time, you are welcome to stay on the ground and go deeper into the "zen" of horses through demonstration and direct, hands-on interaction fostering your new found relationship.
Just as we maximize the boat experience for all involved - including the dolphins, whales etc. - at the HorseManShip Center our goal is that your horses' day will be just as magical and enriched as yours is.
Includes:
- Includes the price of and immediately follows the exclusive Best of the West marine wildlife charter
- Transportation from the boat to the HorseManShip Center
- BBQ "local-kine grinds" (food) and beverages.
- "Horse Whispering" demo and guides
- Trotting, cantering and gentle loping as appropriate; NO "cowboying", "showing off", racing, or full running
- Private - only 6 particpants maximum, on private ranchland, atop privately owned horses gently ridden only 2-3 times per week by "trained" guests
- Total time approximatley 7 - 8 hours (boat and horse time). You
should be back at your car at about 2:30 - 3:00pm.
$279 Surf 'N Turf per person
Afternoon/Sunset Whale Watching : Winter months only, 2 1/2 hours, returns following sunset.
$75 per person, 6 passenger minimum - 20 maximum
Includes: Featuring Made-in-Hawaii "local-kine grinds" (food) and beverages.
